Greeley Chophouse  If you want a nice glass of wine and a great steak, then this is the place for you. White tablecloths, a nice bar, great food and a cozy ambiance make this one of our favorite places to eat in Greeley. Best of all, it’s just a short walk from the inn. We highly recommend making reservations on the weekends and holidays. Perfect for date nights and celebrations!

Midnight Liquor, our favorite local liquor store is just 2 blocks away. They have a large selection of domestic and craft beers, a decent range of wines and THE largest selection of tequila I have ever seen. The staff is both friendly and helpful and their prices are very reasonable. The place is neat and tidy, always plenty of staff and very convenient parking. We highly recommend Midnight Liquors.

Just a short walk from the inn in historic downtown Greeley, this place is three floors of wonderful finds. You just never know what you will stumble across. Mary & Odie have a keen eye and a great sense of style. Everything is exquisitely displayed in room settings with all the accessories. From glass and china, to rugs and furniture, antique dolls to vintage wedding dresses… positively something for everyone. We have spent many an hour browsing .. and yes.. you will find some Lincoln Park Emporium finds at the inn. We found some of our favorite things at LPE.

Colorado Model Railway Museum   Hard to believe that we have this amazing facility right here in Greeley. Visitors from across the nation and the world leave rave reviews for this model railway “on steroids”. More than 5,500 square feet of incredible engineering and imagination for the railway enthusiast and the child inside you. From the exquisitely fashioned 28,000 (yes thousand) trees and scenery, to the incredibly detailed trains – you cannot fail to be impressed. Take part in the scavenger hunt – you be amused at all the hidden treasures, climb into the caboose and perhaps even get a sneak peek behind the scenes, you’ll love it!!

Poudre River Trail Enjoy 21 miles of a well maintained paved pathway for walking, cycling, running, roller-blading and more. Start your trip at Island Grove Regional Park in Greeley and head out to Colorado Highway 392 in Windsor where it connects to the paved trail in Larimer County’s River Bluff’s Open Space. Along the way, you’ll find informational signs highlighting historic and educational features. The trail follows the meandering river and is safe a secure enough to take the kids or the dogs with plenty of spots to stop for a picnic or simply to enjoy nature.This Trail was built through a cooperative effort between the City of Greeley, the Town of Windsor and Weld County Colorado and with grants from Great Outdoors Colorado, Colorado State Trails and North Front Range MPO, with matching contributions from local foundations, individuals and businesses. So don’t forget to pack your shoes or bike!!
